Material and product requirements
Tell the team your destination market and intended use before selecting a material. Ask which current documents apply to that exact material and construction, and whether further testing is needed.
Certification records on the company profile
The Alibaba company profile displays a RoHS record for a cotton bag and a GOTS record with the scope “Greige fabrics(PC0026)”. These records should be checked for the intended order. A fabric record does not establish that every finished pouch in the collection is certified.
What to request
- Document name, issuer, number and current validity.
- Material or product scope and the link to your specification.
- Any transaction-specific documents needed for the order.
- The agreed inspection and packing requirements.
