Distinguish the style from the order
A minimum shown on a listing is a starting reference. Custom dyeing, dimensions, artwork or packing can change what is economical to produce. Confirm the minimum against your actual specification.
Ask about material availability
Existing fabric or color options may have a different minimum from a new material or custom color run. Ask what is available and what would need to be developed or sourced specifically.
Ask how designs and colors are counted
Clarify whether the minimum applies per style, size, color, logo or purchase order. Combining quantities is not automatic. Put the agreed interpretation in the quotation.
Plan the first order with the next one in mind
Consider the first launch, storage space and expected replenishment. Ask which decisions should remain fixed to make a repeat order easier to compare. Do not commit to an unsuitable quantity just to match a generic price example.
